The New Approach to the Sustainable Development of Water Conservancy & Water Power in China

Cao Chusheng

Strategic Study of CAE 2001, Volume 3, Issue 4,   Pages 22-26

Abstract:

The sustainable development of water conservancy and water power and the pumped storage are describedare favorable to the sustainable development of water concervancy and water power. This new approach which combines water concervancy, water power and pumped-storage and links with thelocal electrical development mode will give the original water conservancy and water power new vigor, hence will create a quite new prospect of the sustainable development of the water conservancy and water

Low-carbon technology calls for comprehensive electricity-market redesign

Yang YU

Frontiers of Engineering Management 2019, Volume 6, Issue 1,   Pages 128-130 doi: 10.1007/s42524-019-0020-9

Abstract:

The energy transition also calls for electricity- market redesign.Low-carbon technologies will fundamentally reshape the electricity sector. The electricity generation and demand will be significantly unpredictable and uncontrollable thus requireThe higher difficulty induced by the green-technology penetration expose the electricity-market to aThus, the future low-carbon electricity-market and associated regulation scheme require a comprehensive

Quantitative standard of eco-compensation for the water source area in the middle route of the South-to-NorthWater Transfer Project in China

Zhanfeng DONG, Jinnan WANG

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2011, Volume 5, Issue 3,   Pages 459-473 doi: 10.1007/s11783-010-0288-9

Abstract: The Middle Route Project(MRP) of the South-to-North Water Transfer Scheme (SNWT) in China will requirea very large financial expenditure to ensure the water supply and the associated water quality to northernAn eco-compensation mechanism between the water service source areas and its beneficiaries is essentialThis paper establishes an analytic framework of eco-compensation standard for the protection of the watersource area and the external water reception area based on the deviation square method (DSM).

The Optimal Control Model of Reservoir Operations andSolving With Maximum Principle

Fang Qiang,Wang Xianjia, Fang Debin

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 4,   Pages 55-59

Abstract:

This paper tries to describe the continuous transformation characteristic of reservoir operations with optimal control theory. After constructing the optimal control model of reservoir o perations, the paper presents the necessary condition of optimal control of reservoir operations using maximum principle and analyzes the characteristic and concrete expression of optimal control strategy of reservoir operations in different conditions and environment. At last, an analysis of a numerical example is presented and the results indicate the approach is valid.
